Authors interested in delivering a presentation are invited to submit an abstract in English, as a Word-file of up to 2 (A4) pages (see template), with Results and Discussion representing at least one page, to be evaluated by the programme committee. The abstract must include a comprehensive title, the name of all authors, their complete affiliation, and clear results and conclusions to allow the scientific committee to assess the quality of the work. Abstracts should be submitted as explained below (or, exceptionally, sent by e-mail, congreso.biotechniques@udc.es, as an attached file in case of facing problems with the on-line submission) by 20ᵗʰ May 2026. Registration is a prerequisite to have the Abstract included in the final programme and in the proceedings book. Those who prefer to have a poster presentation can indicate their choice in their e-mail when sending the abstract. As far as possible, abstracts will be accepted for oral presentation but poster presentation will be possible as well. 

Please label your Abstract file as follows: “Name of presenting author.doc”. If a same author submits more than one Abstract, please label them as “Name of presenting author-1.doc”, “Name of presenting author-2.doc”. No more than two Abstracts are allowed to be submitted by a same presenting author, using the template that can be downloaded here:
